Christian Charles Prakas is a Boca Raton resident and Broker of Prakas & Co, a commercial real estate brokerage company specializing in restaurant, nightclub and commercial properties, located in Boca Raton.

Christian grew up in the real estate business and has made it his passion and career since the age of 18. Christian attended FAU during his beginning years with the firm and pursued a degree in Marketing with a minor in Insurance. Since the age of 18 Christian has brokered commercial properties, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, lounges, and various other businesses along the way.

At the young age of 19 Christian set the record sale price per square foot on Atlantic Avenue with the sale of a restaurant property and has not slowed down since. By the age of 20 Christian had already acquired his broker’s license and is now on track to have his Property and Casualty Insurance broker’s license by mid 2012.

In 2008 Christian purchased the locally famous establishment Boca Wings and Ribs, after renovating and bringing the restaurant back to life he decided to sell it in 2009 to focus on real estate alone. Christian has been named a Heavy Hitter in Real Estate by South Florida Business Journal and one of the Top 40 Under 40 by Atlantic Avenue Magazine. With so many achievements at such a young age, Christian Prakas is one to look out for as he progress in his career.

Christian has played a vital role in the company’s marketing and branding strategies over the past 6 years and those efforts have paid off, in 2007 Prakas & Co closed over $70 Million in sales and closed 400 deals since the company’s inception in 2001. Christian believes, “It is all about keeping your ear to the ground and providing my clients with great deals and locations before they hit the street. I bring deals that you aren’t going to find through other brokers or on the internet. Everyone has called on a window with a sign; I want those locations that don’t have signs yet.”

Since the age of 18 he has played a major role in shaping the face of Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach with involvement of notable venues such as Vic and Angelo’s, The Office, BurgerFi, Il Bacio, Prime, Caliente Kitchen, and Johnnie Browns. Along the way he has gained the respect of many large developers, landlords, and restaurateurs in his tenure with Prakas & Co while working with the likes of large restaurant groups such as Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Philippe Chow, Buckhead Life Group, David Manero Restaurants, Taverna Opa, and Todd English Restaurant Group just to name a few. Christian brings a young, aggressive approach to the business and brings another generation of clients to the “table.”

His father, Tom Prakas states, “Christian is a natural when it comes to the real estate business. Not only is he highly motivated, but he has a grass roots understanding and knowledge of the business brokerage and commercial real estate market. He had to eat, sleep and live it his whole life growing up in the family. To Christian, this business is second nature and he has a love for it.
